The Halifax Wolverines strung together some impressive wins at the Monctonian to capture the U15 Major title.

The Wolverines advanced to Saturday play as a wildcard. As a result this meant three potential games on Saturday -  with a win required in each to continue to advance.

In the morning matchup the Wolverines defeated the Express from PEI 4-3 to advance to the quarter finals vs the Cole Harbour Storm in the afternoon.

The Wolverines skated to a 3-1 victory over the Storm and it was off to the semi final evening game vs the Nova Scotia league leading Gulls. 

The Wolverines used a gritty effort, timely goaltending and scoring, combined with shot blocking at another level in the contest. The result - another 3-1 victory.

In the Sunday final the Wolverines faced the Dieppe Flyers. In this game, like all of the others the Wolverines played on the weekend, there were contributions from everyone in the lineup and as a result pulled out a 7-3 victory and the tournament championship.
