Complete Shutout for Round Robin
The Hurricanes completed a 3-0 sweep of their round-robin games, without allowing a single goal against, to earn a spot in the Quarter Finals later in the day. The line of M. Messenger (2), J. Shatford(2) and B. Benight accounted for 5 of the goals with Christian Tufts getting a single marker. The Hurricanes played a physical, relentless forecheck and it paid off with a high percentage of possession time. Congratulations to all including goaltenders Cory and Jacob who weren't always busy in the round-robin but were sharp when needed.
