Team Effort Brings Home Two Road Wins

On Saturday evening, a determined Hurricanes squad went into New Glasgow Stadium looking to earn two points against the Pictou County Crushers.  From start to finish, relentless puck pursuit and control, speed and battle level brought a 9 - 0 victory for the Hurricanes.

With a late finish on Saturday night in Pictou, the guys had to get ready for a battle the next morning in Cole Harbour against a very hard working Harbour Storm club.  It was a close contest until Hurricane scorers broke the game open halfway through the game on route to a 6 - 3 win.

With the two weekend victories, the team's regular season record is 17 wins, 3 loses and 5 ties placing the club in a tie for first place in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League with the Bay Gulls.
