Hurricane respond in third - Better Late than never

After giving up the opening goal in the first period with five minutes left to play on a bouncer the Hurricane found themselves looking for their first heading into the third... yeah I know!

Time was of the essence as the clock ticked down in the third and the Hurricanes didn't want to leave it too late. It was time to take care of business and after a disallowed Hurricane goal the pressure kept coming. It was Josh Shatford (unassisted) on a wrap around that brought the club even which was quickly followed by Keegan Cooke's breakaway goal with a nice move to his backhand to officially welcome him back after a long lay off.

Not to be out done \Morgan Messenger (Jollimore) scored on a quick release to the far post along the ice that beat the Bedford goalie who was giving a solid effort for the Barons.

With the two goal spread Ty Duffus(Christian Tufts, Nauss) rifled one top shelf over the glove hand to pad the lead with just under ten minutes to play.

Many opportunities were missed but the Hurricane third was all that was needed as they go 2-0 in Pictou.

Make the final Hurricane 4 - Barons 1 live from the Trenton Arena in Pictou.
