Hurricane continue shutout streak at Spud

With their second game in a short turn around the Hurricane were looking to capture their second win of the day and keep them on track to the Spud playoffs.

Shots kept coming from all three lines as every Hurricane player contributed to another dominating performance in game two against the West Kent Aces.

Opening the scoring was Bronsen Benight on a nice feed from Josh Shatford who drove wide and then found Bronsen driving the net who managed to stuff the puck past the Aces keeper.

Following the first Hurricane goal was a nice effort by Morgan Messenger. Morgan used his speed to beat the Aces defensemen to the outside but kept skating getting postion on the d-men before cutting to the far post and while being hooked down managed to roof the puck to put the Hurricane up two.

With only one goal required for the Hurricanes wins so far they still found themselves looking and wanting more with goal post ringing and some unfortunate tips missing the mark.  However with another plus forty shot total for the Hurricane while giving up only seven the Hurricane players can take credit for playing the game on both sides of the puck.

The Hurricane are starting to impress with their play in "Anne's Land" based on the feedback being received from other coaching staff as they introduce many fans to the effort that is known as "Hurricane Hockey".
