In Sunday's action, the Hurricanes faced a very solid Nova Jr.X-Men team that were looking for points.  The Hurricanes came out hard and found the back of the net with an early power play marker by Alex Mann with assists by Josh Shatford and Mark Jollimore.  End to end action continued with the Hurricanes getting numerous quality chances and putting sustained pressure on the Nova squad.  The game pace was fast and the hitting hard.  The Canes entered the third period with a 1 - 0 lead, however, some penalty trouble resulted in the X-Men scoring 2 quick goals and then a last minute empty netter to defeat the Hurricanes 3 - 1.  The Hurricanes outshot their opponents today 35 - 22, worked hard, but just couldn't beat the X-Men's solid goaltending and shot blocking.  The fans in Chester were treated to a great Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League game.
