Hurricanes Have Successful Road Trip

With three games in less than 24 hours, the Hurricanes showed great character and work ethic coming home with 2 wins and a tie.  On Saturday afternoon, with the Pictou County Crushers as opponents, the Hurricanes came out on top with a 3 - 2 victory.  Pictou County goaltending was extremely solid as the Hurricanes had 55 shots on goal.

Immediately following the game, players and family went for a team meal and then hit the road again for an evening match up with the Nova Jr. X - Men.  A very physical game ended in a 2 - 2 tie with end to end action.  A very tired Hurricanes squad were glad to get to bed that night in preperation for an early morning re-match against the Nova Jr. X-Men.

The rematch saw the Hurricanes come out firing on all cylinders from the first puck drop to the final buzzer. With committment on both sides of the puck, the Hurricanes scored early and often on route to a 15 - 3 victory.

The Hurricanes now prepare this week for the beginning of the regular season with an opening NSMBHL tournament.
