Hurricanes Going Strong
The Hurricanes were facing two tough road games this past weekend with a Saturday night tilt against the Bay Gulls and a Sunday afternoon contest against Halifax Hawks.
On Saturday, behind a solid peformance by Hurricanes' goaltender Adam Grimmitt, the team managed to score just one more than the Gulls did and won the game by a 4 - 3 score.
On Sunday afternoon, a better effort was displayed by all and more good goaltending by Parker Rowter gave the Hurricanes squad a 4 - 1 win over the Halifax Hawks.
The weekend gave the team 4 big points in the NSMBHL standings. Back on the road again this weekend with a game Saturday evening in Port Hawkesbury against the Nova Jr. Xmen and a Sunday afternoon game in Truro against the Truro Bearcats.
