Storm Aims To Ground Bombers in Playoffs
The Storm finish the Nova Scotia U15 Major Hockey League regular season in second place with 77 points in 33 games with a record of 23-5-2-1-1-1 and will take on the 11th place WearWell Bombers in a best of 3 playoff series. The series gets underway Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre in Westville, NS.
The second game will be held at The Eye of the Storm (Cole Harbour Place Scotia 1), Sunday, March 5th at 11:00am. There will be a gift card basket raffle, 50/50, Candy Bag sales, and Chuck-A-Puck with all proceeds will go to Special Olympics Nova Scotia.
The third and final game, if necessary, will be Wednesday, March 8th at The Eye of the Storm. The winner of the playoff series will be punch their ticket to the NSU15MHL Provincial Championship being held at the Rath Eastlink Centre in Truro, March 16-19.
