2022 Nova Checking Clinic

   

The Nova U15 Major Hockey Team will be holding their Spring Identification Camp in May, 2022. This Identification Camp is open to all U15-aged players for the 2022-2023 hockey season that are members of the Antigonish Minor Hockey Association, Strait Area Minor Hockey Association, or the Cape Breton West Minor Hockey Association. All 1st Year U15 Players in the 2022-2023 season are required to attend a Hockey Nova Scotia approved checking clinic prior to participating in any U15 Major Identification Camp. If you are a 1st Year U15 player or have not participated in a Hockey Nova Scotia approved checking clinic in the past and are intent on attending The Nova U15 Major Hockey Identification Camp, you are required to attend a checking clinic. Goaltenders are not required to attend a checking clinic.

Checking Clinic Registration must be completed, and registration fees must be received prior to player participation (May 3, 2022). Registration fees should be submitted electronically with an e-transfer to president@novahockey.ca. Please ensure that all e-transfers are submitted prior to the beginning date of the Checking Clinic.

PLEASE BE AWARE
1) Regulations of the Nova Scotia U15 Major Hockey League require all registration forms must be received by The Novas and submitted to Hockey Nova Scotia prior to any player participating in the 2022 Spring Identification Camp. A player will not be permitted to participate in any aspect of the Checking Clinic or Spring ID Camp until registration is received and submitted to Hockey Nova Scotia.
2) Only players who reside within a team’s defined Region may attend that team`s camp.
3) 
Players who do not participate in their regional team`s spring camp or fall tryouts for personal reasons are not eligible to participate in another teams tryouts. Players who fail to participate in either their regional team`s spring and or fall camps and are not duly released by that team render themselves  neligible to participate on any other league team. In addition, players who are offered a roster position with their regional team and who refuse to accept are  also ruled ineligible to participate on any other league team.
