The Novas
Helping To Grow The Game of Hockey
The Novas recently spent some time introducing the game of hockey to children participating in Antigonish Multisport.
Antigonish Multisport is a collaborative project, for children in grades primary and one, between 10 community sport organizations and two municipal recreation departments, with the support of numerous community sport stakeholders (locally, provincially and nationally).
Their vision is to grow children through sport by providing opportunities to develop skills and confidence to enjoy the positive benefits of a quality, first experience.
The Novas, as local role models in the game of hockey, have volunteered their time over the last four years to show their love of the game and to help Antigonish Multisport introduce the game of hockey.
