Nova Scotia Major Bantam Player Of The Week
Sarah Stewart is this week's NSMBHL Player of The Week. Sarah is one of two females playing in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League. She is only 5’1” and 105lbs; the bigger players in the league brush her off and knock her down but she gets right back up and goes back at them. She is determined and never gives up. This weekend she played like a giant among men and proved that this is not just a man’s game. Sarah earned the Nova Hard Hat award after Saturday’s 4-1 win against The Cougars with her hard work and determination. Then on Sunday, she was a plus 3 and scored the game winning goal for The Novas’ in the 4-3 win over the Truro Bearcats.
