Nova Raise $2000 for Children's Wish Foundation
The Novas hosted a Children's Wish Foundation fundraiser hockey game on November 26, 2016 at the Antigonish Arena. $2,000 was raised by the team and their supporters as Cullan Chisholm & his family represented the Foundation. Cullan, who became an honourary team member this week, dropped the puck during the ceremonial faceoff.
The Nova's defeated The Western Hurricanes in a tightly contested match. Scoring for the Novas were Ben MacLellan, Dan Gillis & Matthew Ellis. Ben Van Steinburg turned away all but two of the twenty-six shots he faced in the net.
