The Novas Awarded Hosting Rights for the 2027 Atlantic U15 Male Hockey Championship

April 15–18, 2027

The Nova Elite Hockey Development Association is proud to announce that The Novas have been awarded the hosting rights for the 2027 Atlantic U15 Male Hockey Championship, bringing one of Atlantic Canada's premier minor hockey events to Antigonish and our surrounding region.

The announcement was made by the Nova Scotia U15 Major Hockey League, confirming The Novas as the host organization for the 2027 championship.

The event will bring together top U15 male hockey teams from across Atlantic Canada to compete for the Atlantic Championship title, providing an exciting opportunity to showcase the talent, passion, and community spirit that make minor hockey so special.

While the championship will be held in Antigonish, this is an achievement for our entire quad-county region.

The Novas proudly represent Antigonish, Guysborough, Inverness, and Richmond Counties. Our players, families, volunteers, and supporters from throughout these communities will play an important role in organizing and delivering a memorable championship experience.

For The Novas, being selected to host represents an important milestone in the organization's history and reflects our ongoing commitment to player development, community involvement, and excellence in minor hockey.

Beyond the competition, the championship presents an opportunity to showcase the hospitality, generosity, and community pride found throughout our region.

The Nova Elite Hockey Development Association extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who supported our hosting proposal and helped make this opportunity possible.

As preparations begin, we look forward to working with our families, volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and local organizations to welcome visiting teams, coaches, families, and fans from across Atlantic Canada.

Further details regarding the championship schedule, participating teams, and event activities will be announced as planning progresses.

We look forward to welcoming Atlantic Canada to Antigonish and celebrating this championship with our entire Nova hockey community!
