The NSU15MHL is proud to welcome St Barbara as our new Major Sponsor. Together, we will create new opportunities and strengthen the league. We will have more details on what this sponsorship will do for the league soon.

A little information about St Barbara:

St Barbara is a global gold producer.  Our company’s focus is on growing gold mining within the Province of Nova Scotia.  In November 2026, the Touquoy Gold Mine (located 40 kilometers east of the Halifax Stanfield Airport) will restart operations to process 40,000 ounces of gold over a 15-month period.  In that time, the company will employ over 150 Nova Scotians and bolster our provincial economy’s GDP by $200 million.  St Barbara’s next project in Nova Scotia is the 15-Mile Processing Hub (15MPH).  15MPH involves three sites along Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore and is expected to employ over 700 Nova Scotians for the 13 years of operations.  The Project will also increase the province’s GDP by an additional $5 Billion.

St Barbara is a committed supporter of community initiatives and groups and has entered agreements with over 40 non-profit organizations within the province to make the areas where we operate more enjoyable places to live and play.
