New Coaching Staff Announced

The staff will be comprised of:

Troy Fougere - Troy is the long standing assistant coach of the Truro Jr. A Bearcat hockey team of the Maritime Hockey League.  Troy brings a wealth of experience to the Major Bantam staff, not only through his years of coaching the Jr. A. team but also through the vast amount of teaching and instructing that he has done at various hockey schools/camps throughout the Province and at Hockey Nova Scotia programs.

Ali MacEachern - Ali returns to the Major Bantam staff having served the previous two seasons as an assistant coach on the staff of former coach Lou Lancelve.  Ali brings a great amount of knowledge to the staff based on his past playing experience, which includes four seasons with the Halifax Mooseheads (serving as captain of the team his last two seasons) and playing university and professional hockey following his QMJHL career.

Greg Mullen - Greg has served as a minor hockey coach at various levels in the Truro and Area Minor Hockey Association for the past number of years, most recently on the coaching staff of the 2015-16 PeeWee AAA team.  In addition, Greg has coached various levels of spring hockey teams with the Nova Scotia Prospects, Atlantic Hockey Group and Acadia Hockey Development programs.

The new coaching staff is eager to get the 2016-17 season underway with the spring ID camp that will be held from April 29-May 1 (details of which can be found in the below article).
