NSU15 Major Player of the Month-Bandits-Phenwick MacLean

PHENWICK MACLEAN #10

Phen’s impact both on and off the ice for the Bandits this season has been an integral part of the team's success all year. Most recently being December, and it has been a very productive month for the Bandits assistant captain. During this month Phen has guided his team to a 5 - 1 record while racking up 14pts (9 goals & 5 assists) during that 6 game stretch.

Phen has registered a point in every game this season except for one where he left early with an injury. Aside from the impressive point streak, Phen has played a solid two way game which allows him to be played in all situations and has gained the trust and respect from his coaches and teammates. His complete level and tireless work ethic has rubbed off on his teammates as he pushes them to get better everyday they are together.

Phen is not just lighting up the score sheet, he has been just as impressive inside the locker room. Staying positive, practising hard and always having a smile on his face are just a few of the reasons he’s had such a positive impact on our team. Phen has been a tremendous leader and is a key member to a fantastic leadership group inside the Bandits locker room.
