Former Major Bantam Bearcat standout Ben Higgins was recently selected to represent his province at the upcoming Canada Winter Games February 13 - March 1st in Prince George , BC . Higgins is currently in his first year with the Weeks Major Midgets in Pictou County and played in the QMJHL prospects game during the Monctonian back in November . The previous 2 seasons Higgins played for the Truro Major Bantam Bearcats scoring 20 goals / 33 assists in 61 games . The Entire Bearcat organization is proud of Ben and his accomplishments to date and know he has a bright future ahead of him .
